Existence of Oscillatory Solutions of Linear First order Neutral Delay Difference Equations

Abstract

Abstract This paper is concerned with the oscillatory behaviour of first order neutral delay difference equation of the form, Δ [ w ( e ) − p ( e ) w ( e − α ) ] − q ( e ) w ( e − η ) = 0 , α , η > 0 and p(e), q(e) are sequence of non-negative real numbers. Sufficient conditions involving oscillation of all solutions are established. These conditions improve all previous well known results in the literature. Examples illustrating the significance of the results.
