Abstract
In recent years, the estimation of power systems has become increasingly critical. The introduction of Synchronized PMU has significantly enhanced the dynamic estimation capabilities of power systems. However, given the widespread deployment and usage of SCADA systems in the power grid, it is challenging to entirely replace SCADA systems with PMU systems in a short period. Therefore, utilizing a hybrid approach that combines the two systems for power state estimation is of utmost importance. This article achieves the integration of multi-rate and multi-sensor information in the power system by employing predictive interpolation on SCADA to match the sampling rate of PMU. The performance of power grid state estimation surpasses that of a single SCADA deployment.
