Research on interference fit of high-lock bolts based on finite element simulation

Abstract

Abstract Firstly, the finite element simulation of high-lock bolt pressing into single-layer plate is carried out based on ABAQUS,and compared with the theoretical calculation results which are derived from the elastic-plastic mechanics.It illustrates that the validity of the finite element model.Finally, the life-death unit technology of ABAQUS is used to analyze and compare the stress state of hole wall, the HST10AG6 high-lock bolt hole is wrongly installed by HST110AG6 high-lock bolt. It is considered that it is appropriate to expand the hole and install the HST10AG8 high-lock bolt.
