Abstract
Abstract
MSWI FA needs to be treated effectively to prevent harmful effects on the environment and human beings. The use of different ratios of cementitious materials for the solidification of fly ash provides innovative ideas for the environmentally friendly treatment of MSWI FA. In this study, some raw materials were used to solidify fly ash, and it was revealed that the incorporation of appropriate concentrations of fly ash (20 and 30%) could improve the compressive strength, fluidity, pore structure, and rheological properties of the solidified materials, and reduce the setting time, the bleeding rate, and inhibit the phenomenon of drying shrinkage of the solidified materials. However, when the content of MSWI FA exceeded 40%, the performance of the solidified material decreased significantly due to the poor volcanic ash activity and the high water absorption capacity of MSWI FA.
