Abstract
Abstract
As the safety of aircraft increases, aircraft comfort is becoming an increasing concern, with aircraft cabin noise being one of the main factors affecting aircraft comfort. To ensure the comfort of the aircraft, it is, therefore, necessary to reduce cabin noise and to ensure that its volume is within an appropriate range. The sound insulation performance of aircraft panels is a key indicator in determining aircraft cabin noise. Based on experimental sound insulation testing techniques, this paper performs tests on the sound insulation of typical panel constructions. Then possible measures to improve the sound insulation performance are discussed with ARJ21 fuselage panels as an example. Results show that the addition of acoustic wool and honeycomb decorative panels, as well as the necessary sealing treatment, can effectively improve the sound insulation capacity of the panels.
