In the intelligent electric power inspection system, when the nameplate image is collected on site and transmitted back to the server, the server system needs to identify the text information in the nameplate, and the detection of the text area is a key step. By discussing the CTPN algorithm, this paper proposes an improved CTPN text detection algorithm, which makes up for its shortcomings in identifying oblique text and further improves the detection precision.
