Abstract
Abstract
The Ag/Fe/Ag thin films were deposited by magnetron sputtering onto glass substrates at room temperature, and the effect of coverage layer on the magnetism of Ag/Fe/Ag thin films were investigated. The results of VSM show that sample coercivity is much higher in the direction vertical to the film surface than in the direction parallel with the surface, and the structural analyses indicate that the distribution of the sample particles is more uniform. The reasons for the high coercivity were discussed, and this study attributed the changes of coercivity mainly to the sample shape anisotropy.
