Intelligent Operation Maintenance Strategy for Modular Substation Based on Fault Tree Method

Abstract

Abstract Modular substations meet the development trends of the power transmission system. However, the operation maintenance strategy for the modular substation is still lacking. Herein, an intelligent operation maintenance strategy for the modular substation is proposed based on the fault tree method. After rating the state of components in the equipment, the state of the equipment is obtained. Subsequently, by analyzing the relationship between the equipment and modules in the substation, a fault tree model is established to calculate the risk value of each module. Eventually, based on the proposed operation maintenance time model, the optimal operation maintenance cycle of each module under different states is calculated and the intelligent operation maintenance strategy is put forward. This paper is helpful to improve the efficiency and quality of operation maintenance for modular substations.
