Based on the antenna array design method, a new antenna array is designed in this paper. The optimization design results show that the existence of dielectric materials can effectively compress the electromagnetic field, which could greatly reduce the antenna size. The design results show that the size of this type of antenna array is 126mm * 126mm, which is only 70% of the conventional antenna array, the working frequency is 2.4GHz, the return loss is not more than -10dB, the gain is not less than 12dBi, the half power beam width is not more than 40 degrees and the design results show that the dielectric antenna array has excellent performance and good application prospect in the modern communication system.
