Abstract
The possibility of applying the friction surfacing process for the production of functional gradient layered compositions for tribotechnical purposes has been considered. The influence of technological parameters of the friction surfacing process: the rod rotation frequency, the longitudinal linear speed of the rod movement and the method of the substrate surface preparation on the deposited layer formation has been shown.
