Application of metal powders to bronze bushings

Abstract

Abstract Bronze bushings have become widespread in the mobile data of machines, the reuse of which is complicated by the insufficient elaboration of the recovery technology, which has a negative impact on environmental friendliness. To improve the current situation, we carried out research on the development of a technology that allows electrocontact welding of metal powders of nickel and iron onto bodies of revolution made of bronze. The main difficulty on the way of applying this method of recovery is the different melting temperature of bronze and welded metal powders, but the use of a special shell developed by us and the modes identified made it possible to solve this problem.
