Abstract
The equations for calculations of wavelengths of natural electromagnetic oscillations of a spherical cell were obtained. The cell is considered as a spherical resonator filled with an isotropic dielectric. New way to solve Helmholtz equation was obtained. The results of calculations of resonant wavelengths of a cell depending on their size and dielectric permittivity are presented. The calculation shows that the value of the maximum critical wavelengths lie within the submillimeter range.
