Aiming at the servicing requirements of extravehicular payloads for manned spacecraft, on the basis of comparative analysis of servicing extravehicular payloads methods for manned spacecraft, combined with the design of extravehicular payload support system, a servicing extravehicular payload method based on space manipulator operation is proposed in this paper. At the same time, the method of eliminating the position and attitude errors of space manipulator operation is given, and the servicing process for extravehicular payloads in the whole life cycle is developed. This method avoids the risk of EVA, reduces the work burden of astronauts, greatly improves the payload support efficiency of manned spacecraft, and has been successfully applied in practice.
