A Fault Tolerant Method Based on LQR for the Electric Motor Servo System

Abstract

Abstract In the paper, a PI fault tolerant method based on LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator, LQR) is proposed for the coal mine motor servo system. In the proposed strategy, the proportional part is arranged in the feedback loop of the control system firstly, so that the PI control law can be described in the form of system state feedback. And then the PI fault-tolerant control law is obtained based on the PI control law, the parameters are adjusted adaptively with the LQR control method Finally, the proposed method was applied to an electric motor, the simulation illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
