Abstract
Abstract
By using the Monte Carlo method, electric field relaxation has been numerically studied in a 2D layered HTS with defects. Time dependences of the electric field strength inside the sample for an instantaneous rise of electric current have been calculated for different temperatures. The influence of temperature on the shape of such dependences has been demonstrated. The impact of a rectangular current pulse on the vortex system has been studied. The value of the response field strength and its dependence on the amplitude and duration of the pulse have been calculated as well as the impact of pulse duration on the shape of the response.
