CAD/CAM Based Aided Design of Mechanical Product Shape

Abstract

Abstract To meet the requirements of the mechanical manufacturing industry for improving the machining quality of parts, and enhance the machining accuracy and the rationality of part design, a CAD/CAM integrated feature modeling aided system is introduced. According to the characteristics of mechanical products, we propose an integrated CAD set editing framework. On this basis, an optimized incremental feature recognition method is adopted to correlate design features with manufacturing features Then, the digital model of the original model is re-established in Pro/E system, and the strength and stiffness of the molded part of the case are analyzed by comprehensively applying ANSYS software and RP technology, which proves the effectiveness and feasibility of the scheme in this paper.
