Abstract
Abstract
The Ca2FeMoO6 ceramics powder were prepared by solid state reaction involving compression and high temperature calcine. The magnetic properties arise from the environments of the Fe 3+ and Mo 5+ oxidation states which can be modified, with heat treatment at 800 °C and different dwell times exhibited the largest hysteresis loop at 50 K. In addition, the CFMO powder at the high temperature of 800 °C for 10 hours exhibited a high Ms~1.494 emu/g at 50 K and ~0.601emu/g at room temperature. Using the Curie-Weiss law fitting to determine μeff~28.121μB high spin of Fe and Mo, and a negative θ indicates antiferromagnetic characteristics of the CFMO sample.
