Abstract
Abstract
The most unsymmetrical fullerene from the class of C100 isomers was preselected. For such a fullerene, the moments of inertia with respect to the principal axes for its center of mass differ in the most significant way. This made it possible to highlight the intermediate axis of inertia. Molecular dynamics calculations of the fullerene isomer C100 (CS) have been performed under various initial conditions. By analyzing the angles and rates of rotation of the isomer, the contribution of the effect of the intermediate axis theorem to the dynamics of fullerene at room temperature is investigated.
