Abstract
In order to reveal the energy-saving mechanism in the process of fish swimming, an IB-LB model based on implicit boundary force correction is used to study the same-frequency swimming of the basic unit of the fish schools composed of 6 fish. Through research, it is found that lagging fish can absorb energy from the tail vortex of the fish in front, achieving the effect of energy saving, and the fish directly in front provide more energy than the fish in front of the side, but the overall energy loss of the fish schools is basically the fish alone swim the same.
