Abstract
Elastic Optical Network (EON) is the promising technology for future network which may suffer congestion or fragment problems when huge amount of burst traffic arrives. This paper proposes an improved routing strategy for EON based on Artificial Intelligent (AI) assisted traffic prediction. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that compared with traditional algorithms, the improved algorithm can effectively reduce the blocking rate of the network especially under heavy network load.
