Abstract
Abstract
In this article we studied a model of changes in the amplitude of the spectral density maxima and interference of the side lobes of backscattering radiation from Fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs). For this purpose a computer simulation of the matrix system of equations of coupled modes depending on the modulation depth and wavelength was carried out. The practical significance of the work lies in finding the laws of dependence of the level of oscillation on changes in the input parameters to obtain the greatest efficiency of optical fiber containing fiber Bragg gratings. An attempt is made to model technological defects and their influence on the character of FBG backscattering.
