Developing the research of navigation and positioning in high latitude area has important political, economic and military value, and it is of great significance to realize the global navigation of inertial navigation system. In this paper, the basic algorithms suitable for polar navigation are summarized, various polar integrated navigation methods are compared, and the research of inertial / astronomical integrated navigation with small error, high accuracy, wide application is particularly introduced.
