Abstract
Abstract
This article presents a method for assessing the technical condition of a horizontal centrifugal centrifuge using vibration analysis methods. The study has been conducted on a centrifuge’s single-mass rotor model with a rigid and flexible shaft and flexible supports. Based on the results of the research recommendations for assessing the compliance of the bearings and deflection of the rotor shaft, the location of the natural frequency in the frequency spectrum of oscillations have been identified. An approach to damping vibrational oscillations of a rotor system using controlled acceleration of the rotor by means of a frequency-controlled electric drive is proposed.
