Abstract
This paper describes a methodology of the geometry analysis of a solar UAV in order to satisfy energy flight requirements by the integration of PV panels. It is shown that the surface of an UAV’s wing has a direct relation to the structural weight. Since aerospace industry relay on weight saving concepts in order to enhance the overall performance, this paper shows the importance of an optimized selection of such geometry parameters in order to satisfy both concepts.
