Abstract

Abstract The article presented by the author considers the greatest wear along the arc of the contact of the bearing ring with the ball is observed on the surface where there is more slippage, i.e. on the face of the groove of the rings. The problem often lies in the low durability of the bearing supports. The authors of this article are invited to analytically evaluate the durability of the bearing with additional consideration of the regularity of changes in the concentration of wear products in the oil of the unit. Uneven load distributions and different elastic constants of materials used for the outer ring and balls, and further with the subsequent improved correction of the resource, which are carried out in accordance with modern requirements. Such a correction involves not only taking into account the impact of lubrication conditions and oil contamination on the bearing life, but also modifying the resource in relation to the fatigue stress limit to the dynamic equivalent load, taking into account many factors of influence.
