Abstract

Abstract Based on the analysis of the literature, the number of corrosive particles entering the aircraft engine with air has been determined. It is shown that the atmosphere of the continents has the smallest number of chlorides, their maximum content on the seashore, the troposphere above 10 km has a stable amount of aerosol particles. A method for estimating the chloride content has been developed to predict the rate of sulfide-oxide corrosion of parts of the hot TRD tract.
