Abstract
Abstract
With the rapid development of civil air transportation network in recent decades, aviation emission is continually increasing which may lead to irreversible damage to the environment. Besides, the operating cost of civil aircraft also should be reduced for creating greater value for human activities. Consequently, eco-efficiency aircraft should be developed for aviation sustainable development, and there are some higher constraints on the aircraft design, especially on the cost and emission. In this research, the developed multi-objective design optimization technique, along with the aircraft general and aerodynamic design approach, as well as the operating cost model and integrated emission model, is used to conduct the aircraft concept design, leading to the minimum operating cost and emission. Further, the Pareto solution set, related to the temperature change which is caused by emission and cost, is obtained to conduct eco-efficiency aircraft design optimization.
