Abstract
Theresults of numerical modelinghas based on the solution of Navier-Stokes equations for convection oftwo-layer system air-water are presented.The influence of thermo-capillary and gravitational convection on the deformation and time averaged position of the interface of air-water system under sudden lateral heating of a square-section cavity are shown.
