Study on anti-vibration optimization design of transmission line section with large span in Inner Mongolia

Abstract

Abstract Affected by the cold wave process, eastern Inner Mongolia is easy to suffer from both of persistent low temperature and strong wind weather, which causes the dynamic bending strain of overhead conductors’ aeolian vibration to approach or even exceed the safety threshold frequently. The end position of the existing conductor and the conventional vibration damper are in high-intensity working state for a long time, which seriously threatens the operation safety of Inner Mongolia East power grid. In this paper, aiming at the optimization design of anti vibration scheme of large span line section in eastern Mongolia, taking the 500kV Kesha #1 and #2 line #119 ~ 120 line section with a span of 1043m as an example, according to the existing anti vibration design standards of large span line section, the effect evaluation test optimization research of anti vibration scheme is carried out, and the anti vibration scheme more suitable for large span line section in low temperature and strong wind area in eastern Mongolia is given. The recommended anti vibration scheme is obtained through simulation test, analysis and Optimization on the indoor test file, which meets the relevant technical requirements of anti vibration. It is of great significance to avoid fatal defects in large span line sections of transmission lines and ensure the long-term safe and stable operation of regional power grid.
