Improving reliability of power supply of mineral-raw-material complex

Abstract

Abstract The problem of ensuring the reliability of the main equipment of enterprises of the mineral and raw materials complex is considered. The significant influence of automatic control means on the automatic power supply system (object of study) on the efficiency of mining enterprises is shown. Achieving the goal of improving uninterrupted power supply for the operation of electrical installations of the mining complex is ensured by solving the problem of reducing the time of disconnection of damaged areas and transient processes. For this, an algorithm has been developed that uses a set of signs of emergency situations: values of voltages, currents, states of relay protection actuators and automation. In addition, the integration of automatic power supply control and relay protection based on the concept of smart power supply networks of a mining enterprise has been proposed. A sign of identification of the type of emergency mode was by the level of voltage reduction on the buses of the switchgear, control of the actuation of relay protection devices that disconnect equipment in emergency mode, autoreclosing, underfrequency load shedding, automatic reserve entry. MATLAB/Simulink simulated the operation of electrical equipment of the power supply system in accordance with the known method of relay protection and automation, as well as using the proposed algorithm for identifying emergency modes and restoring voltage after disconnection of the damaged area.
