Abstract
The rubber isolator with metal embedded inside has been developed and has been used in ships. In this paper, based on Abaqus software, static characteristics of the metal-rubber isolator under rated load are calculated by finite element method. The simple deformation experimental data processing of the rubber material, the fitting method of the hyperelastic constitutive model and the model simplification of the metal-rubber isolator are described in detail. The feasibility and effectiveness of the finite element method to analyze the static characteristics of the metal-rubber isolator is verified by experiments. The conclusions obtained in this paper can provide guidance for the rapid development of serial products of the metal-rubber isolator.
