Abstract
The push-out test used in this study to present the performance of continuous perfobond connectors. A total of seven specimens that are composed of lightweight concrete-filled steel tubes with two reinforced blocks were tested. The main investigated parameters were the concrete compressive strength of the blocks, specification of perfobond shear connector, and the type of shear connector. Specimens were inspected under a concentrated load applied on the steel tube filled with lightweight concrete while the slip is measured by two LVDTs. The results show that the ultimate shear strength and stiffness are increasing with increment concrete compressive strength. The T-type and mixed-type show increase in the ultimate shear strength compared with perfobond type, while a maximum slip of specimens decreasing with increasing the compressive strength of the concrete.
