Abstract
3D high-density electrical method is a kind of artificial underground stable flow field established by setting electrodes on the ground, which is used to analyze the underground distribution of geological bodies, so as to predict or solve the problems in the planning, design and construction of projects. However, 3D high-density electrical method still has its limitations. In order to study the resolution ability of 3D high-density electrical method in actual underground cavity investigation, a comparative test of two-pole device and dipole device was established in this paper. The results show that the two-pole device can detect large depth but low resolution, while the dipole device is more affected by depth and has better effect in the measurement of low resistance abnormal body.
