Abstract
Abstract
This paper studies Phases 2 and 3 of jets’ propagation with some Type II spicules characteristics into the solar corona using a thermomechanical (TM) approximation. Embedding two plasmas with different densities (one representing the chromospheric plasma and the other the coronal plasma) in cylindrical sections, we use iterative processes to calculate the final temperatures due to the mixture between both plasmas. The heating process produced by phase 2 of descent and phase 3, which corresponds to plasma not trapped, could represent a source that maintains the current temperature of the low corona.
