In this paper, the relationship between the liquid characteristic parameters and the resonance characteristics of the quartz tuning fork is studied through impedance analysis and computer simulation. Firstly, the three-dimensional model of the quartz tuning fork driven by AC voltage is established using finite element analysis software, and the vibration mode and frequency response of the quartz tuning fork were analyzed. Then, the impedance spectrum of the quartz tuning fork in the air is measured by experiment, and its equivalent circuit parameters are estimated. This result is consistent with the equivalent circuit parameters estimated by simulation, which proves the effectiveness of the simulation. Finally, the values of the geometric parameters A and B are calculated by the frequency response of the quartz tuning fork in the liquid and used for the calculation of the density and viscosity of the liquid with unknown characteristics. The research provides a theoretical basis and experimental support for the design of quartz tuning fork liquid characteristic sensors.
