Abstract
In this study; glass fiber (GF) and calcium carbonate CaCO3 (CC) are fillers used with high density polyethylene (grade EMN 6030). The fillers were mixed with polyethylene by 10-50% w/w to prepare some of polymeric composites mechanical properties such as tensile strength, hardness and Young’s modulus increased with the augmentation filler concentration. However; the elongation strength impact and fracture energy reduced with the augmentation fillers concentration. Moreover, rheological properties as melt index have been studied. The melt index values decreased with the fillers concentration.
