Design and Verification for Measurement and Control System of Large-scale Ship Model

Abstract

Abstract The navigation performance of the ship model is generally studied by the hydrodynamic parameters of ship models with the help of test chamber towing tanks or external waters. Considering the difference among the conditions of the indoor field towing tank or the outer field water area and the actual sea state, to solve the problem of the large-scale ship model series test under the actual sea state in this article, a large-scale ship model measurement and the control system was designed, including heading control system, controller, propeller propulsion device, rudder actuator and power supply module and others. It is used to test the maneuvering performance of large-scale ship models in the sea. On this basis, the reliability and effectiveness of the system were verified by testing the speed and maneuverability of the model in open water.
