Abstract
Delft3D software is used to simulate the flow field of Xiushan bridge. The model is verified by the tidal level data of two observation stations, and the results are in good agreement with the measured values. Five piers on the south side of Xiushan bridge and six observation vertical lines are selected to simulate the velocity distribution data of these 30 vertical lines. The main axis of rising and falling tide is basically in the west-east direction. The maximum velocity of rising tide and falling current both appear on the surface. The maximum velocity of rising tide is 1.99m/s, while the maximum velocity of falling current reaches 3.03m/s.
