Abstract
The multi-dimensional WC-10Co4Cr coating was prepared on 316 stainless steel by using HVOF spraying, and the impact of heat treatment temperature on the microstructure, cavitation resistance, and mechanical properties of the multi-dimensional WC-10Co4Cr coating was studied. Heat treatment at higher temperatures leads to lower porosity and upper hardness of the coating. Meanwhile, oxidation products such as CoWO4 and Cr2O3 were produced at 500°C. The coating has the best anti-cavitation performance after heat treatment at 300°C.
