Abstract
While aircraft flying, once the icing detector finds the icing environment, the stall protection system will turn on the icing stall protection mode. After aircraft leaves the icing environment, due to the lack of effective means to determine whether there is still ice on the unprotected surface of the aircraft, it is impossible to exit the icing stall protection mode, which can lead to issues such as high approach speed of the aircraft, affecting landing safety and passenger comfort. To solve this problem, this paper conducts experimental research on ice shedding time under different temperature conditions, simulating the phenomenon of ice shedding during aircraft fight. This work helps formulate the logic of aircraft exiting icing protection mode, and lays a basis for future work of aircraft performance optimization.
