Threshold anomalies in low-energy reactions with loosely-bound projectiles

Abstract

Abstract Recent results concerning data for fusion and elastic scattering of low-energy neutron-halo 6He and weakly-bound 6Li projectiles, colliding with medium mass targets, are briefly reviewed. The extended optical model (EOM) was used, which includes two complex polarization potentials, one associated to fusion couplings and the other one associated to direct reaction couplings. Four systems having 6Li projectiles and one with 6He were analyzed. The extracted threshold anomalies are discussed.
