Effect of H2S on high-pressure decarbonization of biogas based on aspen hysys

Abstract

Abstract This paper studied the process of distributed methane purification and proposed a method to collect and separate carbon dioxide from methane by simulation. Aspen Hysys software was used to simulate the effect of hydrogen sulfide content change on methane compression, separation, and decarbonization purification process. The critical properties of methane, power consumption of the compressor, and caloric value of methane were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed. Therefore, this article has significant guidance on how to improve the high value-added utilization of biogas, recover CO2 and utilize it with high quality, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is also one of the key directions of biogas research both domestically and internationally.
