Abstract
Abstract
Microwave absorbing materials have a wide range of applications in both military and civil areas. Fe-based amorphous alloys have superior soft magnetic properties, which possess high permeability and high saturation magnetization. The studies on Fe-based amorphous materials have a high theoretical and practical value. In this article, the effect of different temperatures treatments on Fe51.6Co34.4Hf7B6Cu1 amorphous alloy prepared by melt-spun technique is investigated. The traces of crystalline phase are precipitated from the treated sample. The volume percentages of crystalline phase are 2.1% and 7.4% in the annealed samples at 200 °C and 300 °C, respectively. The microwave absorption performance of the microcrystalline samples after isothermal heat treatment is better than the other.
