Abstract
Abstract
Paper is devoted to the development and verification of a tool for modeling and designing radiant-panel heating and cooling systems. Source of radiation is capillary mats, which consist of tubes through which water flows with a temperature of 18°C to 32°C, depending on the operating mode. The tool is an analytical model that takes into account the radiation from capillary mats located on the ceiling and walls, the mutual radiation of all surfaces in the room, including doors and windows, simplified convection, as well as third-party sources of thermal energy, such as the sun, electronics and people. The model was compared with a similar numerical model created in Comsol Multiphysics, and also verified by experimental data.
