Design and Synthesis of CaMoO4 Microspheres and Their Optical Properties

Abstract

Abstract CaMoO4 microspheres materials were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method using CaCl2 or Ca(NO3)2 and ammonium molybdate as reaction raw material at 170°C. XRD analysis shows that the product indexed to tetragonal phase of CaMoO4. FESEM images exhibit that the product is spherical and the diameter of the microsphere is about 5 μm. PL spectrum indicates that the photoluminescence emissions intensity of CaMoO4 depended on the morphologies and sizes of the products.
