Abstract
Abstract
To provide effective protection of heating loop products for space remote sensors throughout the production test, causes of product damages and weak links were analysed, and some specific protection strategies were proposed. Firstly, a flexible protective coating which could be reused was designed. Secondly, the quality control department organized the production department and testing department of the product to formulate a full-link implementation scheme to assure continuous implementation of the proposed protection method in all links, including design, technique, inspection and test. This heating loop protection decreased the product damages significantly compared to those in the previous year. The total number of damaged heating loop products in one year decreased by 60% from 18 to 7. Damages of heating loop products during optical assembly, electric wiring, final assembly and transportation were controlled effectively. This study protects the manufacturing safety of heating loop products for spacecraft remote sensors.
