Abstract
The problems of cleaning emulsion-type liquids with a low content of light impurities, which include oil-containing wastewater of industrial enterprises, are considered. Ways are proposed to improve the design of a cylindrical-conical hydrocyclone for the process described above. The experimental studies of the velocity and pressure fields in a cylindrical-conical hydrocyclone indicate the promise of using it for the separation of oil-containing wastewater with a low concentration of light impurities.
