As a measuring instrument, the signal analyzer is widely used in communication, microwave, aviation and other fields. It can not only measure the quality of the input signal, but also quickly demodulate the measured signal to obtain the information contained in the signal. In this paper, a method of pulse compression time sidelobe analysis applied to the signal analyzer is proposed to analyze and test the pulse measurement signal. First, the correlation between the pulse measurement signal and the pulse reference signal is processed by pulse compression. Secondly, the sidelobe suppression analysis is carried out by using the window function method for the reference signal. Finally, according to the pulse compression correlation amplitude results, the main side lobes are separated, and the time side lobes are further analyzed and the corresponding parameters are calculated. The simulation results show that the root mean square error of parameter calculation is less than 5%, which meets the standard of signal analyzer for pulse compression time sidelobe analysis.
