Abstract

Abstract The scientific article shows the application of the method of continuous wavelet data transform to estimate soil breaking up when tilling. Due to the high speed of experimental data processing, it became possible to reduce the total time of soil section scanning for determining its agrotechnical parameters. The reduction of time is achieved by both choosing the type of spiral along which scanning is performed and choosing the angular velocity. On the whole, scanning is performed twice as fast per one revolution depending on the studied area of the field. In some cases the number of revolutions can be reduced by 3-5 times.
