Analysis of FAST’ Best Working Paraboloid

Abstract

Abstract FAST consists of an active reflector, a signal receiving system (feedback source cabin) and other devices, where the reflector is an adjustable sphere composed of a main cable net, reflective panel, actuator and other main parts. It obtains an ideal paraboloid for operation in line with the position of the heavenly bodies, and meanwhile, a reflective panel regulating model by fitting the paraboloid as much as possible based on this ideal paraboloid, and calculates the absorptance of the cable according to the reflection model of electromagnetic waves.
